It is a Grade II listed property that has been completely renovated and updated to provide modern style and comforts, whilst retaining the charm and character of its Georgian origins. There is a large well equipped kitchen/diner with wood burning stove and four windows that allow the morning sun to stream into the room, whilst you contemplate what to have for breakfast. The sumptuous large master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and the double and twin bedrooms share a shower room. The cottage has its own private courtyard leading from the sitting room with table and chairs and there is also a small patio area in front of the cottage. Guests have access onto the grassed paddock area at the rear of the property, where well-behaved dogs are free to run around. However this is not a secure area and there are sheep and cattle in the field behind so owners are responsible for keeping their dog under control at all times. Additional parking is also available in the B&B private parking area.
Beware satnav as you approach Marnhull, as it may try and send you down a VERY narrow road called LOVE LANE!.Instead, stay on the 'B' road for 3-4 miles until you see village signs for Marnhull. You will pass the Crown Pub on the right and then see a church in front of you. Turn right immediately in front of the church into Church Hill and follow the lane for half a mile, when it becomes Burton Street and you shortly come upon a parade of shops on the right hand side, including Robin Hill Stores and Post Office. Clock House entrance is on the same side of the road about 10 meters down.
You will see a sign for Clock House B&B on the left hand side of the wall with a gravel drive. Go down the drive towards a row of 3 garages and on into the B&B private parking area. The entrance to the B&B is through the stone arch in the wall.
