What a complete find. I have never felt more like I was not staying in a commercial property but actually staying in my hosts' own home. Julie, Mella and Chris could not do enough to make you welcome. The place is brand new, soundproof, and totally charming. Everything is excellent quality, like you would buy for your own home. Veggie brekkie is delicious and flexible, and can be enjoyed at your leisure. Cereals, eggs, baked goods, and fresh garden fruit are all delicious, as are the homemade jams and marmalade. Plus, the stewed rhubarb has to be eaten to be believed. The night we arrived we bought locally some things for supper, and our hosts set the table and provided cutlery, crockery, and glassware totally gratis. We will be back.

Three extraordinary women created this exceptional B & B from a near derelict property, restored to the highest standard with style and imagination, and run with friendly professionalism. Room and furnishings of the highest quality, large sitting room to match my own, friendly welcome with tea on our own patio, delightful hosts ready with everything you need to know but unobtrusive if you want to be alone ! We are pretty discriminating travellers but cannot fault this offer and cannot recommend too highly.

Outstanding B/B that has to be experienced to be believed. The owners have totally renovated a derelict large house and cottage to an extremely high standard. The bedrooms are superb as are the en suite bathrooms. French windows open onto a delightful terrace and garden. The Clock House is a LITTLE HAVEN at a most reasonable price . A first class example of a truly commendable B/B.

My wife and I have stayed in many places over the years in pursuit of Family occasions of one sort and another, but never experienced the level of hospitably and immediate feeling of friendship we enjoyed with our three hosts at Clock House last weekend, they clearly have an excellent business model.

Home from home. Everything done with exquisite taste. And a lovely part of the world.

Beautiful guesthouse, immaculate, comfortable and warm in lovely village. Great recommendation for local pub for dinner. Hosts warm, welcoming and wagging tails (the owners' two dogs!). Very dog friendly and wished we had taken our lab with us, but we were on business.

The hospitality was excellent, so welcoming. Breakfast was very good and I liked the fresh fruit salad. Good coffee too. Very engaging and accommodating hosts.

Was by far the best b&b I have ever stayed in. It felt like home but in a very professional way. .... even the dog was looked after like a king ! Thank you for your exceptional hospitality, I can highly recommend this place to anyone .

The peace and quiet along with the comfort of the b&b and the hospitality of the owners. They have made the house and surrounding areas wonderful.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Clock House B&B .............. what an absolute gem! We have recently completed 2 months of travelling throughout the UK, staying in B&Bs each night and without doubt, the recently-established Clock House surpassed anywhere else that we stayed. Our tastefully decorated room and its ensuite with separate shower and bath were both very spacious and well-appointed. All the rooms are at ground level and accessed via a wide hallway. There is a comfortable lounge exclusively for the guests - the accommodation is in its own separate wing but is attached to the main house meaning that the wonderfully friendly, helpful hosts are close at hand. Added to all this, Clock House is set back from the road in a lovely quiet location in a pleasant village. We cannot recommend Clock House B&B highly enough.

We arrived to a warm welcome from Chris and the dogs and were served afternoon tea on the verandah with home made cake which was scrummy. Our breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants, hot toast, home made jams and boiled eggs ensured a good start to the day. On our second day we took friends back to show them around and no problem to Mella - afternoon tea arrived for us all in the very comfy lounge, which is part of the B&B. It was like being at home.. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
