Wedding weekend. Just to thank you again for a wonderful stay at your delightful guest house. We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable and the breakfasts were truly superb! It was the most wonderful, magical weekend and I'm sure we will be staying again some time in the future - maybe for a Christening! I'm only sorry that we don't live closer to Marnhull so that we could book to come to your Supper Club.

Pure bliss. This is the most wonderful B&B, the rooms are perfect with a bath and a shower in the en suite. Everything is done to the highest standard, tea and coffee making facilities, your milk is kept in a fridge in the lounge that you can collect on your way in, bone China mugs, little details that make everything special. Chris and Mella are wonderful, so friendly and their breakfasts are fantastic. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, your choice from the menu freshly cooked. Their dogs Ben and Tizzie are great and they cater so well for your dogs. If you are looking for a wonderful relaxing break in the Dorset countryside, you couldn’t find anywhere better.

No comments can express the feeling of joy at staying in your beautiful place. Clean, well designed, hosted superbly. Lovely shower and room. Thanks al lot Mella and Chris.

Lovely varied breakfast that, as a butcher, made a nice change from a "full English". Lovely cut fruit selection, choice of eggs, mushrooms etc and fantastic seeded bread/toast. Whole property and room decor was spot on and plenty of grassed areas for exercising our energetic Sproodle. Doggie bag (containing bed, bowls, tray, treats and food if required) was a lovely unexpected addition (although not required by us this time!)
There was nothing that could be improved upon. Chris and Mella were attentive and informative and great hosts as were Ben and Tizzie ( their two adorable spaniels)that got on well with our dog. One thing we were surprised at was the Booking.Com score of 9.8, The Clock House B& B is definitely worth a 10+

Just to say how very much we enjoyed our return visit to you and to thank you for looking after us so royally. The Chelsea Bun was simply lovely and was a perfect addition to a welcome cup of tea when we arrived home.
We wish you continuing success throughout this year and beyond and, as we said, we will try to plan a future stay with you in the Summer to be able to enjoy your lovely surroundings more than has been possible during our Winter visits.

Lovely place, lovely people, if you're visiting that part of Dorset, go ! Delightful location/surroundings, comfortable room and bed, bath & shower (often only get one of these), good towels, tea making in room, tea and carrot cake welcome for us and goody bag for our dog, very good breakfasts of fruit, cereals, pastries etc. with eggs cooked to order, easy parking, pleasant village, shop and pub just round the corner, dog shower....and all presented by charming hosts. It was the best B&B we have ever been at. But if you could fix the traffic on the A303......

The Clock house was easy to find but off the main roads, so was nice and quiet, with plenty of space to relax and breath. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable at every turn and provided a wonderful service without intruding on our break - except when we welcomed great conversation. The continental breakfast was simple, yet magnificently presented ans well cooked/served at in the B&Bs comfortable shared lounge/dinning area - all great quality. Many local pubs - but take your hosts recommendations on where to eat instead - they were GREAT!

Gem of a B&B in beautiful Dorset The Clock House truly lives up to its excellent reviews - beautiful and impeccably well kept property with comfortable and very clean rooms, friendly and gracious hosts who are knowledgeable and passionate about the area, generous and tasty breakfast. Marnhull is a lovely village in a lovely area. I traveled with my husband, our dog, and my parents, and all of us felt welcome and at home - we wished we could have stayed longer. We especially loved the garden and how each room has its own little patio area. The doggie welcome pack was also a sweet gesture and our pup indeed felt very welcome! We would love to return.
